Child Safety Is Our First Priority

Toledo PAL is dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming space for every young participant and everyone involved in our programs. To support this, all employees, coaches, volunteers, and board members must complete a background check before working with our youth. They are also required to complete Safe Sport training to ensure we maintain the highest standards of safety and care.

Toledo PAL is committed to following all parts of The Protecting Young Victims from Sexual Abuse and SafeSport Authorization Act of 2017. This law was created to help prevent abuse in youth sports and to make sure organizations provide the highest standard of safety and care. To meet these requirements, Toledo PAL  has adopted a SafeSport Policy that applies to our national organization and every chapter.
