Toledo PAL is a nonprofit youth development program dedicated to providing positive alternatives to gang involvement and violence in under-resourced neighborhoods. By using athletics and enrichment activities as powerful tools for growth, we create safe spaces where young people can learn, play, and thrive. Our programs—ranging from baseball, basketball, and volleyball to tutoring, sports camps, and youth enrichment—are designed to build character, teamwork, and leadership skills. With the support of volunteers, community partners, and local agencies, Toledo PAL strengthens the bond between law enforcement and youth, fostering mutual respect and brighter futures for the children we serve.
In partnership with the Toledo Police Department, the City of Parks, Recreation, and Forestry, and dedicated community volunteers, Toledo PAL is committed to building character and shaping futures for young people across our city. Through athletic, academic, and leadership development programs, we provide safe, supportive spaces where kids can grow, thrive, and discover their full potential. Our mission centers on four key goals: helping youth develop strong character, embracing active and healthy lifestyles, building positive relationships with police officers, and giving back to their community. Together, we’re creating opportunities that not only inspire today’s youth but also strengthen the future of Toledo.
